16 SLOT Backplane MAU TEST Fixture

Built to Honeywell Specifications, the MAU Test Fixture is a conformed fixture for production and engineering test of MAU modules. The unit consists of a 16 slot dual channel MAU backplane with dual VICOR regulated power supplies to supply +3.3, +5, +14 and –14 DC voltages independently for both sides of the backplane. It’s open nature allows easy access to modules.

All power supplies are fused and monitored for voltage. A power valid signal is generated to the MAU backplane in the same fashion as the power valid in an MAU cabinet from an actual MAU power supply. As an alternative to the built in supplies, the test fixture may also use actual Honeywell MAU Power Supply Modules (Not supplied) for a true MAU cabinet replacement . 

The test fixture also accommodates the use of Honeywell “Connector Savers” with stainless steel connector saver retention rods. The Connector Savers allow repeated insertion and removal of cards without damage to the 16 slot backplane. These test fixtures are presently built to Honeywell specifications for use at Honeywell, but can be made available to outside sources with prior Honeywell approval.

  • Independent power and power Valid LEDs for each side of the bus.
  • Operates from 115 VAC—230 VAC 47-500HZ
