The lightweight package and powerful features you have been waiting for. The DATATAP series ASCB - D bus readers are 3.5 pound, battery operated, hand held wonders. Thisproduct was jointly developed by ICS and Kutta Consulting to address the growing need for a small portable ASCB - D Bus Reader. The development has not been trivial, but now it’s complete.

Brought to you by the same company that supplies Honeywell’s ™ ASCB D Test and Simulation equipment, the DATATAP connects to an ASCB - D bus using the same cable used to connect a Honeywell™ TIU/PCI-NIC. The unit has powerful features that allow display of ASCB D parameters, parameter and parameter group status, and even a display of the participating, non participating and non-member NICs in an aircraft configuration. The DATATAP series are totally battery powered, but may be run from an AC power source as well. Database and configuration files can be loaded via 802.11b wireless LAN, Hardwired 10/100 Ethernet, or USB key chain FLASH memory.

• Monitor all parameters on a single bus (or dual buses with DataTap 950 Dual Channel platform)
• Select parameters from a tree view of all parameters in a particular aircraft configuration.
• GroupView feature allows one button display of all bad parameter groups on a bus.
• See participating, non-participating, and nonmember NICs on an ASCB bus.
• Record data for later playback.
• Export to CSV (Comma Separated Value) file for use in Microsoft Excel or other post processing applications.
• Easily save and load different aircraft configurations and parameter display sets.
• Attaches to aircraft bus existing 9-pin cabling used by PCI-NIC/TIUs combinations.
• Exchange files to/from DATATAP using built in 802.11b Wireless LAN, 10/100 hard wired LAN, or USB Key Chain FLASH storage.
• 10.4” High Luminance TFT Color Display.
• Docking station, Keyboard, Mouse, Extended Battery, and wireless LAN Access points available as optional equipment if desired.
