The ASTI was designed specifically to provide a versatile data acquisition platform that has the capability of handling a multitude of mixed I/O types while also providing data recording, data display, powerful data visualization, as well as high speed test system and simulator interfaces to the acquired data.  versions of the ASTI exist to meet the needs of users with various high speed communications interfaces such as ASCB-D,  SAE aerospace AS5643 Data (IEEE-1394b for military and aerospace vehicles). Many other interfaces are available and the architecture is designed to allow the addition of newer protocols as they are needed. Please see the lower level pages for mor information. This is a highly versatile system that is scalable form a portable system, to the control center for and entire Integertation Test Facility.
